Vampire
Not your stereotypical vampires yes you can be awake during the day but think about going outside and that's suicide. And yes there are humans on campus but you are not allowed to suck their blood(unless they give you permission). Vampires originated around the time of 1548 and have been going strong since then in order for the vampires to live they are either required to have blood once a week from humans or go to the infirmary and have blood there. Being a vampire is not genetic so it would be very rare to have vampire parents and siblings but lots of vampires classify the person that turned them their parent and everybody else they changed their siblings. Usually when a person get's turned into a vampire their whole family is wiped from the face of the earth(not always but usually).
Werewolf
Werewolves have been around since the beginning of time- all werewolves are genetic. A werewolf cannot make anybody else a werewolf(unless of coarse you have a baby then yes). Every werewolf is different transformations can and will happen randomly happen some werewolves can change if they're around fire,water, and other things like that.
Witch
Witches have been around for centuries. Witches are genetic as long as somebody from your past was a witch you will be one too. Witch's come in all many different type of powers some control water,fire, earth, wind. Now there is one special witch that has the ability to control how much air is allowed and she or he can take away the air whenever that person wants to. The witch that can control air is extremely uncommon once the one dies another one will be born so who knows who it could be.
Fairy
Fairies are just like witches except they are smaller and they have wings. Can control water,fire, make bubbles basically any magical power.
Mermaid
Mermaids are wondrous men and women. The most gorgeous people you could possibly ever meet with such amazing seducing powers almost nobody can resist them. And mermaids have a special talent they can shed their tail for two weeks in a month so they would be able to walk around, get out of the water etc.
Human's and half breed's
Humans actually attend the school and attend classes with the others. There are also half breed's which are humans mixed with a vampire or a werewolf. The humans are safe as well as the half breed's. Strangely enough when a half-breed is born they are born just like a human but have abilities like a vampire or werwolf or whatever they are.
